Pursing Spiritual Excellence

his is a six disc series which brings the ancient teachings of Mussar, a Torah based discipline, into modern times and teaches how to strive for spiritual excellence and overcome poor spiritual habits. The Hebrew term mussar () is from Proverbs 1:2, and means instruction, discipline, or conduct. The concept of Mussar can be found in Lamentations 3:40. The purpose of Mussar is to bring us closer to G-d and His Word. In the process, our character traits or middot ("measures") are changed and brought into balance. In this series, we address the reason G-d created Satan and how even this is for our good. We also learn that there is not a single character trait that cannot be changed for the positive. We learn how to examine our our lives according to scripture and using the Scriptures in changing our character traits in order to become what HaShem has for us and how to better serve Him.
