Dear Chaverim (Friends),

I want to personally thank you for your interest and support in the ministry of Emet HaTorah. It has been said that the mark of a true teacher is not to impart wisdom or knowledge, but to equip the student with the necessary tools to educate themselves. Part of the function of Emet HaTorah is to equip you with the tools and concepts necessary to aid you in your study of Torah. We pray by doing so you will gain a better understanding of the Scriptures, of Israel and of the “People of the Land.”
On this website you will find teaching, information on tours, archaeological digs, information on the various festivals, and various other related items. We pray that these will become an asset to you and your family. It is my desire that you will not only better understand the God of The Book, but understand and develop relationships with the “People of the Book” as well. Ultimately, I pray that it can be said that we all have become “People of the Book.”
L'hitraot Shalom,
Rabbi Dale Samuel Cohen

The Birth of Emet
January 2004 marks the official beginning of Emet HaTorah. We ask that you pray for Emet HaTorah regularly that we may be sensitive to what the Lord would have us accomplish with this ministry in the months and years ahead. It is our strong desire that Emet HaTorah minister to people on a personal level. We truly desire to teach and to inspire all who are spiritually hungry and seeking spiritual growth.
The Meaning of Emet HaTorah
Emet is the Hebrew word for Truth. Torah, in Hebrew, literally means Instruction*. The word Torah is commonly used to refer to the Holy Scriptures. Emet HaTorah, therefore, is the Truth of the Scriptures.
We believe that in order for one to pull the golden nuggets of truth from the Holy Scriptures, one must be able to study the Scriptures for yourself. Although part of our mission is to give instruction and teaching, the higher goal of Emet HaTorah is to equip you with the necessary tools to educate yourself. In short, we don't want to just feed you. We want to teach you to obtain & prepare your own food! We desire to be able to equip you with the tools and concepts necessary to aid you in your study of Torah.
Purpose & Vision
Emet HaTorah exists in order to educate in various forms a Torah positive perspective to the principle truth concerning Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) and the role of the Torah as the lifestyle for His redeemed community from a Biblically Hebraic perspective.
It is our vision that the lives of each person coming in contact with this ministry would be enriched through a fresh understanding of the Scriptures.
